French Intent

Pupils learn to communicate practically about things that are familiar to them using the French language. They listen to and take part in conversations to develop spoken communication. Pupils read confidently aloud and express in writing ideas, facts and feelings. The foundations of phonology, vocabulary and grammar are laid in preparation for learning foreign languages in the future, thus providing our children with doors to a wider world of opportunity and cultures.
