The school day starts at 8.55 but to help everyone, we open the doors at 8.45, 10 minutes in advance.   Children arriving earlier than that, either by themselves, or being dropped off, are UNSUPERVISED.  Needless to say, this is potentially a serious safeguarding issue. 

This morning, 2 children were dropped off and left at 8.10, entirely alone in the dark and the rain!  

 

We do have a breakfast club where children are supervised, fed, kept warm and safe and this is available from 7.30 and I would encourage you to use it if you need to drop your children off early.
