Thank you to everyone who came to Parents Forum.  We had a really good discussion centred on maths and how we're moving forward with maths as a school.  I'd like to thank Mrs Simcox for her presentation, it was much appreciated by everyone.  Out of the discussion, it seemed to lead naturally to Computing, ICT and E-Safety being the focus of the next Parent Forum which will  be in the new term.

Thank you so much to everyone who spent time in class with their children this morning.  It was great to see so many parents in school!  

 

Well done to the Y2 children who took part in the book quiz today.  They showed an awesome literary knowledge!  Thanks to all the parents who attended too - your support makes all the difference!

 

Next Thursday, we are holding a maths morning for parents and children in Yrs 3, 4 and 5 from 9.00 until 10.00.  Parent Forum follows on immediately when we will have a chance to discuss how we can work together to help our children with their maths, especially in the light of the new Yr 4 maths times tables SAT that comes in next year.  Everyone is welcome!

It was wonderful to see so many dads in school this week (and a few mums!).  I really do hope you all had a great time.  Thank you for all the positive feedback.  I'd like to pass on a huge thanks to all staff, especially Donna and the kitchen team for working so hard to make it a success.  I hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day on Sunday!
