Incident 25.10.19
Fri 25 Oct 2019 -
Our PCSO Team
Wed 23 Oct 2019Northfield Road Primary School have been working on a brand new initiative with the local PCSO's.
We have a team of ten students who have trained with PCSO's.
They are all expected to learn the phonetic alphabet, knowing all the call signs, used by the police. They also have to learn a pledge which consists of being consistent, honest and trustworthy. This had to be recited to gain their uniform. The children, as a team, came up with the parking ticket, they will be doing a walk around Netherton, looking at how people park.
We have had a visit from the Fire Brigade, who gave a talk and a safety booklet for the PCSO's to complete. In future we will be getting a visit from a Road Safety Officer and Ambulance.
We are the very first school to take part in this initiative and learn valuable lessons..
