Just to let everyone know that Year Group photos will be taking place after half term.  A letter is coming home about this today, 18th May.  It is very important that you return your consent form as we will not be able to include any child without consent.

 

The Year Group Photo is a great memento for children to keep as they grow up to help them remember everyone they were at school with!

 

The Year 6 Photo is particularly important because I will be placing one on our alumni wall for future generations to see!

I'm pleased to announce an exciting new sports initiative here at school - "Sports For Champions".  Do look out for a letter coming home. 

To commemorate the forthcoming royal wedding, on Friday 18th May we are holding a non-uniform day.  Children are encouraged to come to school wearing red, white and blue!  It will be a great chance for us all to celebrate our British values -

• the rule of law; 
• individual liberty; 
• mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith
• democracy

 

Any donations received will be donated to charity.  Any charity recommendations would be most welcome.

 

Well done to all the classes and teachers who have worked so hard on their "Book Nooks".  The school is now full of interesting and exciting places to read!

We are updating our carriage charges for our on-line uniform service.

 

We have listened to feedback from parents about the cost of our delivery service, and so from 27th April 2018 we are reducing the carriage cost of parent orders from £4.95 to just £2.99. This charge will apply to all parents orders, whether delivered to home or to school.

 

Free delivery will apply on all orders over the value of £75 including VAT.

 

You will now be able to have delivery to home or an alternate address before the start of term, and to school during term times and all at a very reasonable cost.

 

I hope you will agree that this is a much-improved option for both School and Parent.
