School Improvements
Mon 10 Jun 2019We are excited to announce that works will soon be commencing on site to improve both security and access as well as some much needed kerb appeal!
The works will include replacement of the railings along Northfield Road from the car park gates down to the mobile, removal of the hedge, a new pedestrian gate to provide access to the Breakfast and After School Clubs, automated car park gates and a secure access pedestrian gate from Recreation Street.
Works are scheduled to start on Monday 10th June and are expected to finish by early July.
We ask that you bear with us, and with the contractors working on site, during this period of disruption.

Walk to School Week
Thu 16 May 2019Our school is taking part in 'Walk to School Week@ which is the 20th -24th May 2019.
We would love as many children and parents as possible to walk to school, however you can also cycle or scooter if you prefer!
Why? Children all want the right to walk to school safely, with fewer traffic jams and less toxic fumes in the air.
We know time is short, but the benefits of active travel are numerous:
- Children arrive fit, refreshed and ready to learn.
- Congestion and air pollution levels are cut down.
- Parking issues are solved.
- Children learn vital road safety skills that will prepare them for the day they will walk, cycle or scoot to school on their own or with their classmates.
We will be using classroom packs to promote ‘Walk to School Week’ within school.
